A quick overlook

The Sibillini Museum network was created in 2013. It currently involves six municipalities, i.e. Montefortino, Montefalcone Appennino, Smerillo, Monte Rinaldo, Montelparo and Montalto delle Marche. It covers an area that includes the provinces of Ascoli Piceno and Fermo and that surrounds the Monti Sibillini National Park.
The Sibillini Museum Network is the result of the joint effort of the municipal authorities to put together their cultural assets in a single project that can empower museums as s tool for the cultural development and social cohesion.
The main goal of this project is to promote and raise awareness of the local cultural heritage and its art, history, environment and productions. The museum network involves artistic, scientific and archaeological museums.
This heritage is on the one hand preserved and protected, on the other hand is the token of the identity of the local community.
The excellence of our territory does not arise from each single element, but derives from the peculiarity of their combination.
